Parco Pallavicino
Parco Pallavicino, part of the historic Villa Pallavicino estate on the shores of Lake Maggiore, was originally established in 1855 as a private residence. The estate evolved under the Pallavicino family, who transformed it into a neoclassical villa and, in 1956, opened its gardens to the public as a wildlife park. Today, the park is renowned for its commitment to animal conservation, caring for injured animals that find a permanent home within the estate, while rehabilitating others for reintroduction into their natural habitats. It also serves as an educational space for children, fostering a deep connection with nature and wildlife.
In our rebranding project for Parco Pallavicino, we aimed to enhance the visitor experience through a cohesive visual identity that reflects the park's mission and charm.
The logo tells a story, incorporating animal footprints and silhouettes of local leaves to evoke a sense of discovery and connection to nature. For the signage, we chose to use artistic illustrations that add elegance and a touch of handcrafted warmth, enriching the sense of wonder for the many children who frequent the park. A harmonious forest green was selected for the signage, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Additionally, we developed a dedicated wayfinding system to optimize orientation, ensuring that visitors can easily navigate the park while immersing themselves in its captivating environment.
